Many people who incorporate the tarot into their personal practice of centring, growth, or spirituality pull a Card of the Day in the morning and use it to generate insights and actions for the upcoming waking period. Another way to use the cards (or other tool — runes, crone stones, sacred path cards, etc.) is to consult them at the end of the day.
I created the End-of-Day Wisdom Layout to help you prioritise what is and is not important as you sort through the wheat and chaff of the day you have just encountered. Doing it can clear your mind of detritus that could keep you awake unnecessarily. Mix your pack of cards and lay three cards in the pattern shown, allowing each to respond directly to its corresponding question in the context of your waking hours. Record the information in your journal, then turn out the light and rest well.
