Several packs of cards came into my life in 2012 and I would like to take a moment to celebrate them and share their names and their creators’ names with you. Some of them I’ve used with clients and in workshops, others I’ve used only for my own insight. I hope that at least one of them speaks to you. To be fair, I list them in alphabetical order.

James, what do you think of the Itongo Tarot ?
I like it very much, Nadine (or else I wouldn’t have mentioned it). I have a connection with a medicine man in Zimbabwe and this deck made me think of the times he’s visited and offered ceremony and council. The images in the iTongo pack, very nature-oriented, speak helpful stories.
Ok, I thought it was just a list of the decks you got, sorry. I lived in South Africa for 20 years and have been quite tempted to get it. I just wanted an opinion from someone who had it.
I tend only to mention things that enrich me here. I should have been clear about that at the beginning of the blog piece. Enjoy the iTongo, Nadine! 🙂
Thanks for the mention, James, and Magical Blessings to You and Yours for 2013. ~Jordan
My pleasure, dear Jordan. Your Mysterium deck (and kit) is a wonderful tool for prompting the imagination and creative spirit!
Hi, James
Many thanks for listing iTongo Tarot; I know Robyn-Ann and am always pleased on her behalf when someone mentions her deck 🙂
My pleasure, Dieter. It’s a beautiful and well thought out set of cards.
amazing decks! I would love to add them with my collection of tarot cards. Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful article and would love to visit again to learn more about the tarots especially for tarot readings.
Yes, they’re lovely decks. Thank you for visiting. Please come back.
I didn’t know there was a new version of the Tarot of the Spirit. I love the original (one of my first decks) and the book is good too.
At some point I would like to get Jordan’s deck. I missed out on it before Schiffer picked it up.
I made myself a necklace called “Arethusa Does Deco” with a ceramic face of Arethusa, but I don’t have that oracle deck. I have several books on Sacred Geometry, another interest.
I bought the Mary-El but traded it. Nice art, but the book was…not to my taste. I nearly bought the Tarot Leaves but decided it was too same-y (although nice to see it published, anything tree-related is good to see.)
For me, the best purchases of 2012 were the Blue Dog Rose Tarot, the Tarot of the Absurd and the Play Architecture playing cards.
I was waiting for the Circle Ways Tarot, but alas, it was not to be. `-]
