Hi James.
Thanks for this ‘call & response’ opportunity. My greatest gifts are my writing, my capacity to churn lessons into wisdom and my ability to weave things into the big picture. Some of yours are your clear sightline between spirit and the material, your ability to cultivate calm and grounded energy and your humour. I surmise these gifts of your find home in your teaching circles, with clients and in the communities that you link into. I myself, am searching for places/ways to bring my gifts into the wider whole…
Namaste!
Thank you for this feedback, Melinda. I enjoy your appreciation of your own gifts too. Who needs you to help them churn their lessons into wisdom and to show them a big-picture view?
I am traveling, James; and my life is in a state of flux. I am both emptying out and taking in, but I feel I must be in a stable place before I can act on the answers to those questions for either of us. However, I wonder just what this time of wandering is about for me, especially since I did not directly initiate it. I have an idea of what I want to do when and if things settle down again, but I cannot be sure of who I will be by then, either. I want to be changed by my experiences. So, I will consult the cards for you and for myself and get back to you on this.
It sounds like a good time to do as Rilke suggested some time ago, Michael:
“…I would like to beg you dear Sir, as well as I can, to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.”
Wishing you many graces on this journey.
Using the Osho Zen Tarot, my response was the Six of Rainbows (Earth)–Ripeness. It indicates I am ready to share my “juice”. All I need to do is relax right where I am and be willing to let it happen. As the tree lets go of the fruit when it is ripe, I must let go of the structure, the idea I need to be at home or in some stable place in order to share my inner riches. And that is exactly what has been happening as I sail this vast ocean of consciousness without any land in sight.
From this place of Ripeness, James, my answer to your question from the Lady of Life is that wherever you are is the best place to share your wisdom. Ripeness is the Nine (not the Six) of Rainbows, by the way. Thank you for your question!
Beautifully said, Michael.
The ripest fruit is the juiciest and the most ready to let go of the branch.
May your letting go and your sharing be as delicious as possible.
I find the tile “Lady of Life” rather evocative without knowing the author’s exact meaning.
I think your strength lies in treating people politely, the classic good manners of a Lady, combined with a tolerance of a greater concept of Life that other people exhibit. Part of your circular thinking is tolerance and a wider…how to say it…interest in the different opinions and approaches of other people. Your gift.
Thank you, Woley. What kind words.
A few basic manners can go a long way, even if only “please” and “thank you”.
Fortunately for me at this age, I have a clear idea of who I am on many levels. My service to humanity and the universe is to assist people in discovering their soul purpose, much like your query here. My Tarot and counseling work helps to illuminate and dissolve the barriers that maintain the elusive Shadow so one can shine one’s light as bright as possible.
How about you, my friend? I would love to read more about your calling.
In Spirit,
Katrina
Such a gorgeous response, Katrina. It’s wonderful to hear your sense of purpose ringing through your words!
I’d say that there’s a calling in me to guide/assist/midwife/catalyse personal insight and change in ways that ripple out and create cultural insight and change. I feel the souls of new venues for that calling out to me.
