As Thalassa says, "the body remembers," and so we can honor that as we dance our joy. One of my teachers, SunRaven, always said: Beltane is not just a holiday, it's a state of mind. We can carry that state of mind in every moment of the Now. There was something ecstatic and Beltane-esque about the Readers' Studio, n'est-ce pas? So we can carry that into our now as well. I have no idea what the protest was about thsi time but it was noisy and there were lots of police. But the weather is getting warmer. I remember as a kid I could actually smell the changing of the seasons. Every so often I still get a whiff of it. But Happy Beltane to all! But I did make sure to get out to Prospect Park for a little gratitude walk - complete with walnuts for the squirrels. :) I can't believe it's May already. Thank you for the NOW reminder - so true!
