Just to be is a blessing, just to live is holy.
(Abraham Heschel)
This is the season to know
That everything you do
Is sacred.
(Hafiz)
Both of these statements affirm for me the inherent goodness of life. I can not hold to the idea of so-called “original sin”. It doesn’t make sense. Creation is perfect in its formation, in its timing/rhythms, and in its beauty. We are part of creation’s perfect rhythms. Remember that the cosmos would be a very different place without you. You and I belong here. We are holy.
On another note, if you’d like to hear me talk about how to promote one’s professional tarot practice, here’s an interview with me by Elizabeth Genco. It was fun to talk shop! http://buildyourmetaphysicalbusiness.com/huzzah.html

James,
Thank you for this. We are indeed holy. If more people could live this reality, we would truly transform the world and our own life experience.
Hugs,

Thinking about creation as perfect is reminiscent of the head of the U.S. Patent Office in the 19th century who wanted to shut down the whole place, because everything that could be invented had already been invented.
What is called by some “original sin” is anything but; it was humanity embracing its divinity (with the serpent giving up its own divinity so that humanity could carry it), and taking over the job of perfecting Creation. Not that humanity has always done such a good job at it…

Congrats on the blog. Even we’re no longer in same city (or country!) it’s nice to see that we’re in as much alignment as we were all those years ago in Laurie’s reiki class!
Blessings,
Mark David
